En la entrevista se brind贸 detalles sobre los preparativos de la 7ma celebraci贸n anual del D铆a de los Muertos en la ciudad de Marion, NC. que se realiz贸 el primer s谩bado de Noviembre.

El d铆a de los muertos tiene sus or铆genes en las culturas prehisp谩nicas, que consideraban la muerte como una etapa natural de la vida y no como un final. Ya que los antiguos cre铆an que los difuntos regresaban temporalmente durante esta festividad. Por ello, en estas estas festividades se traen ofrendas para sus muertos, acompa帽ados de comidas y bailes tradicionales.

The interview provided details about the preparations for the 7th annual D铆a de los Muertos celebration in the city of Marion, NC. which took place on the first Saturday of November.

The day of the dead has its origins in pre-Hispanic cultures, which considered death as a natural stage of life and not as an end. Since the ancients believed that the deceased returned temporarily during this festival. Therefore, during these festivities offerings are brought for their dead, accompanied by traditional foods and dances.
